Star Wars raises £2k for stroke charity

Last Saturday, a group of us were involved in a Star Wars convention in Harold Wood where we raised over £2000 for the charity Connaught Stroke Victims.

It was organised by Cllr Brian Eagling and Nick Joseph, the head of the charity and also a medal bearer from the 1977 film Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.
